Scottie Scheffler enters the 2026 U.S. Open as the +455 favorite, marking the 15th straight major in which he is the favorite or co-favorite, according to bookmakers at Caesars and DraftKings. Those odds are Scheffler’s longest coming into a U.S. Open since 2023.

Rory McIlroy (+940) and Jon Rahm (+1175) sit second and third on the odds board, with Xander Schauffele (+1850) and Cameron Young (19-1) rounding out the top five, according to Caesars and DraftKings.

Bookmakers at Caesars and DraftKings report several popular early bets further down the list. Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood are both listed at +2250, while Si Woo Kim is 36-1 and Sam Burns is 37-1. Caesars also said it accepted at least one large wager on Tyrrell Hatton, who is 30-1 at Caesars and 44-1 at DraftKings.

Brooks Koepka has drawn some attention at 32-1, bolstered by his status as the last U.S. Open winner at Shinnecock Hills in 2018. Koepka withdrew from last week’s RBC Canadian Open with a hand injury but said he will play at Shinnecock.

The U.S. Open has produced surprise winners in recent years: Wyndham Clark won at 100-1 in 2023 and J.J. Spaun at 150-1 in 2025; both are listed this week at 45-1 and 59-1, respectively. Aaron Rai, who won the 2026 PGA Championship at 230-1, is 110-1 for the U.S. Open. Odds by DraftKings Sportsbook are subject to change.
