Seattle Mariners vs. Atlanta Braves MLBN Wednesday Afternoon!

MLB Lines: The Atlanta Braves have been a marginally profitable team at home in Turner Field but their woeful run production has continued to be a liability that has kept them from taking full advantage of one of the top pitching staffs in the game. The Seattle Mariners have been flirting with a .500 record and have been a better than expected betting value on the road with solid profits in away games and also on the run line. The Atlanta Braves will host the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday afternoon at Turner Field with coverage on MLBN starting at 12:10 PM ET. The probable starting pitchers are right hander Hisashi Iwakuma for the Mariners and left hander Mike Minor for the Braves.

 

Mariners Surprise

The Mariners were 14-13 in road games with the MLB lines and that made them a solid profit as a regular road underdog.   They were a highly impressive and profitable 32-23 on the run line. The Mariners boasted the 7 The Mariners boasted the 7th ranked bullpen in MLB.

 

Half a Team in Atlanta

The Braves were a solid home team with a mark of 18-12 and boasted the 2nd ranked earned run average in MLB. Atlanta was ranked 1st with the MLB lines for quality starts. The Braves weakness was run production where they ranked 29th in MLB. This combination of poor offense and great pitching made the Braves one of the worst board values on the run line board.

 

The Pick

Seattle has proven to be a solid dog value after two months of play and we’ll call for them in this one as Atlanta has not gotten enough run production to make it worthwhile of a call as a likely big home favorite.
