Spread -0.5: Sevilla -120; Celta Vigo +117

SEVILLA

In the last ten games in all competitions, Sevilla recorded five wins and five losses, while they have a 2-0-3 record in the previous five La Liga matches, proving they are one of the most unpredictable teams in Spain this season. After the first 11 rounds of the Spanish La Liga, The Great of Andalusia is in the sixth spot of the table with 19 points, a 12:11 goal difference and a 6-1-4 record. At home, they earned 13 points out of five games with a 9:2 goal difference, while on the road they played pretty poorly recording two wins and four losses out of six matches with an awful 3:9 goal difference.

Sevilla is having some problems in the final third, as they created just 90 scoring chances so far, scoring 12 goals and making eight assists. Their key strikers, Luis Muriel and Wissam Ben Yedder, scored two goals each, and the fans surely expected more from them. The wingers Nolito and Jesus Navas are also underperforming in the Spanish La Liga, while the 25-year old forward Pablo Sarabia looks like an only Sevilla’s player in the top form recently. The 29-year old midfielder Ever Banega is another key player who needs to step up if Sevilla wants to catch the Champions League spot.

The manager Eduardo Berizzo still cannot find the right flow for his team’s play. For the next game, he cannot count on Daniel Carrico (muscle injury), Nicolas Pareja (osteitis pubis), Joaquin Correa (muscular problems), and Gabriel Mercado (hamstring injury).

CELTA VIGO

The Sky Blues put on a great display to beat Athletic Bilbao at home, 3:1, in the previous round of the Spanish La Liga. They have scored three quick goals from the 16th to the 26th minute, while Iago Aspas proved he’s back in the form with a brace. His second goal was a beautiful header after he found the gap between Athletic Bilbao defenders. The visitors cut the lead in the 38th minute, but Celta Vigo managed to keep the lead until the end of the game.

After the first 11 rounds of the Spanish La Liga, Celta Vigo is sitting at the 11th spot with 14 points, a 22:17 goal difference, and a form of WLLWD. At home, The Sky Blues earned eight points with a 10:9 goal difference and a 2-2-2 record, while on the road they recorded two wins and three losses with a 12:8 goal difference. Iago Aspas and Maximiliano Gomez are leading the team with six goals each, while Pione Sisto is the team’s top assistant with eight dishes in 11 appearances. The Denmark winger is playing in a magnificent form recently, and he could be one of the football stars in the future.

The manager Juan Carlos Unzue will miss the 30-year old centre-back Facundo Roncaglia (hamstring injury) for the next game against Sevilla, while the 20-year old talented winger Emre Mor is still doubtful due to a sprained ankle.

SEVILLA vs. CELTA VIGO – Match Prediction

Sevilla is a pretty tough opponent at home where they conceded just two goals so far in the La Liga, while Celta Vigo scored 12 times on the road, but they recorded just two wins in five games. Therefore, I expect to see a close game with at least a goal on both sides, and this clash could be easily finished in a draw (even Sevilla didn’t draw for ten games in a row in all competitions).

MY PICK: Both Teams to Score YES (-149)

ATLETICO MADRID vs. REAL MADRID

3-Way: 1: Atletico Madrid +231; X: +260 Draw; 2: Real Madrid +140 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread 0: Atletico Madrid +143; Real Madrid -143

Total +2.5: Over -101; Under -101

ATLETICO MADRID

Atleti recorded another 1:0 victory beating Deportivo La Coruna on the road in the previous round of the Spanish La Liga. For the ninth time in a row they couldn’t score more than one goal, and the last time they bagged two goals was against Sevilla in the sixth round of the La Liga on September 23rd. Obviously, Atletico Madrid is far away from their top form, and it seems like there is no improvement in their play in the last two months. They had a couple of good displays, but commonly they are struggling to find the net and to win games on regular basis.

After the first 11 rounds of the Spanish La Liga, Atleti are still undefeated, sitting at the fourth spot of the table with 23 points, a 16:6 goal difference and a 6-5-0 record. However, they are eight points behind the leader Barcelona, and from this point of view, it seems like a huge deficit. The French striker and Atleti’s biggest star Antoine Griezmann is playing in a poor form from the start of the season, scoring just two goals in nine La Liga apps, and the ten-time Spanish champions need far more from him. The 22-year old winger Angel Correa is leading the team with four goals in 11 appearances, while Yannick Carrasco added three goals and three dishes to his name in eight games this season.

The manager Diego Simeone is still forcing his patient tactical approach, and for the upcoming Madrid Derby, he cannot count on some important players, as Koke (hamstring injury), Yannick Carrasco (knee injury), and Filipe Luis (calf strain) are all doubtful.

REAL MADRID

Los Blancos are in crisis, even the manager Zinedine Zidane doesn’t want to admit it. They have beaten Las Palmas at Santiago Bernabeu, 3:0, in the previous round of the Spanish La Liga, after two consecutive defeats against Girona and Tottenham. Zinedine Zidane’s boys are sitting at the third spot of the La Liga table after the first 11 rounds with 23 points, a 22:9 goal difference and a 7-2-2 record. At home, they were struggling for most of the time, winning just 11 points out of six games with a 3-2-1 record. On the other side, they have played pretty well on the road, recording four wins and one loss.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored just one goal in seven appearances, and it is his worst start of the La Liga campaign ever. The 21-year old winger Marco Asensio and a 25-year old midfielder Isco are leading the team with four goals each, while Isco is a top assistant with three dishes in 11 appearances. There’s a lot of problems at Real Madrid’s defensive line, too, and without the 24-year old centre-back Raphael Varane they look pretty fragile. Sergio Ramos is also out of form, and his misjudging can cost Los Blancos a lot.

Zinedine Zidane is still having problems to field his best eleven, as Isco (wound) and Gareth Bale (tear in the abductor muscle) are sidelined for the Madrid Derby.

ATLETICO MADRID vs. REAL MADRID – Match Prediction

The Madrid Derby is always unpredictable, and in the previous three matches, we saw three different outcomes. I expect to see an entertaining game with a lot of scoring chances on both sides, and of course, with some goals in both nets. Neither side will be satisfied with a draw, as both teams are trailing eight points behind Barcelona.

MY PICK: Both Teams to Score YES (+127)
