Oklahoma doesn’t have a huge sports market, but they are home to some prestigious college football programs and a mediocre NBA team that doesn’t really draw in the action that other states do.

The only professional league team in the state is the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA. They’ve been around for roughly 50 seasons and have yet to win a championship. They can make it to the playoffs usually, and maybe even to an NBA Final, but they can’t seal the deal and win a championship.
Their hopes were dashed in 2016 when star player Kevin Durant left and joined the Warriors, but they still have Russell Westbrook and Paul George to lead the pack.
