In the Seawolves’ last outing, they defeated the Rhode Island Rams, 68-58. Converting at the free throw line was one of Stony Brook’s biggest strengths. They were 16-19 (84.2 percent), while the Rams were just 12-19 (63.2 percent). Stony Brook was led by Akwasi Yeboah, who was the game’s leading scorer with 19 points on 7-for-19 shooting.

The Spartans won big over the Regent Royals in their last game, 97-57.
