No sitting POTUS has ever attended the Super Bowl. You might think that’s a strange factoid, but not even Barack Obama, arguably the biggest sports fan ever to take the seat in the Oval Office, had a ticket to the Super Bowl.

Trump had his chance to personally partake in Super Sunday during the early days of his presidency and didn’t. If he didn’t support his good friend by attending last year’s Super Bowl, there’s little reason to believe that he’ll go this year.

Remember that Trump had a huge social media spat with the NFL in October, including calling out all of the players who refused to stand for the National Anthem and suggesting that the owners fire the players who protest. Trump didn’t go to the deep red state of Texas last year for the Super Bowl so he’s probably not going to the generally liberal state of Minnesota this year after stirring up so much controversy.

Will Donald Trump Take Part in Pregame Interview on NBC?

Yes +360
No -500

Of all of the Donald Trump Super Bowl LII props, this might be the most controversial of the bunch.

Obama made it a tradition to do an interview, often live, before the Super Bowl. Other presidents have done so in the past, including George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan. That said, Obama made this an iconic event before the Super Bowl, and Trump continued that tradition last year during his interview with Bill O’Reilly.

But with the Super Bowl airing on liberal-leaning NBC this year, Trump has reportedly shunned the interview request. That’s not to say that Trump won’t ultimately succumb to the interview at some point, but at the moment, he has no plans to do oblige NBC.

At a price of +360, the oddsmakers are leaving the door open for the possibility that NBC can swing an interview with Trump before the Big Game.

Total Number of Donald Trump Tweets During Super Bowl 52

Over 2.5 (-115)
Under 2.5 (-115)

We all know that our POTUS loves his Twitter account. He’s taken on the NFL time and time again this year on social media, and he’s bound to do so on Super Bowl Sunday as well.

Whether it’s his undying support of Kraft and the Patriots or his constant insistence that players should stand for the National Anthem, Trump has plenty to say about the world’s biggest business.

Last year, Trump tweeted that the Super Bowl was boring. And then, of course, the Patriots came back from down 28-3 to win the game in the least-boring way imaginable.

Though last year, Trump’s over/under was set at just 1.5 tweets during the Super Bowl, BetDSI Sportsbook has released a Trump’s over/under this year at 2.5 tweets.

Considering all that our dear POTUS has had to say about the NFL over the course of the last year, we wouldn’t bet against him tweeting at least three times in what amounts to one of our favorite Donald Trump Super Bowl LII Props.
