The national championship game of DI women’s basketball will be televised by ABC for the first time

In 2023, ABC will live stream the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship game. The match will be broadcast on Sunday, April 2, at 3 PM from the American Airlines Center in Dallas. The 2023 Women’s Final Four semifinal games will be broadcast on ESPN on March 31 at 7 and 9:30 PM. For ABC, this is a first.

 

Two first-round games and four Sweet 16 matches from the NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament were televised on ESPN for the first time in 2021 on ABC. With the addition of two regular season games on ABC and a number of tournament games, the pattern persisted in the 2021–22 season.

The 68 teams who will compete in the 2023 championship have been verified by the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee. The announcement will take place on Selection Sunday, March 12, at 8 PM on ESPN.
