Wake Forest heads into the game with records of 6-4 straight up (SU) and 4-4 against the spread (ATS). Vegas has a tendency to place the total high when the Demon Deacons are involved, as six of their 8 games have finished under the O/U total.

Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina owns records of 6-5 SU and 3-2 ATS. Unlike Wake Forest, games featuring the Chanticleers tend to go over the total (100.0 percent).

Jaylen Shaw has averaged 18.0 points, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals over the last five games for Coastal Carolina.

After the Demon Deacons won the only game against the Chanticleers last season, 86-74, these teams will battle for the first time this year. Wake Forest did a terrific job of getting to and converting from the charity stripe (21-25; 84.0 percent). Coastal Carolina, meanwhile, had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (24.0 vs. 9.4).
