In the latest Talk ‘N’ Shoot podcast, we continue the theme of “Greatest Boxer of All-Time“.   The theme of the discussion has eight men remaining after a series of simulations, and the matches that we are going to be discussing in this latest episode features Sam Langford vs Willie Pep, Muhammad Ali vs Henry Armstrong, Ezzard Charles vs Roberto Duran and Joe Louis vs Sugar Ray Robinson.

Special guest Dave Siderski joins us to discuss each match at length and discuss what some of these fights would have looked like in-ring time.  The discussion gets into a wide range of topics for this one, as the matchups are looked at with some historical context, and a wide range of topics come up around.  At this point, all eight fighters left are not only top boxers, but in many ways each is a historical figure that to some extent or another transcended boxing.  Eliminating four of them is not easy.

Despite the extreme difficulty getting the list of eight men down to four,  by the end of this latest podcast, we are down to four men.   Look back next week for the final podcast where we take the four men remaining down to two, from which one man will emerge and earn the title of The TALK ‘n’ SHOOT Podcast’s first ever “Greatest Fighter of All-time”.
