Tampa Bay is 13-6 straight up (SU) and has netted moneyline bettors 1.9 units this year. Through 19 regular season matches, nine of its games have gone over the total, while another nine have gone under and just one has pushed. As the away team this season, the Bolts are 6-3 SU.

Tampa Bay has converted on 27.1 percent of its power play opportunities this season, a figure that’s good enough for sixth-best in the league. Additionally, its penalty kill is ranked fourth overall, and it’s successfully killed off 85.7 percent of its penalties.

For the team as a whole, Tampa Bay has been penalized 4.1 times per game overall this season, 4.4 per game over its past five matchups total, and 3.8 per game over its last five games as the visiting team. The team has been forced to kill penalties just 7.9 minutes per game over their last 10 outings.

Boasting a .927 save percentage and 29.4 saves per game, Andrei Vasilevskiy (9-4-1) has been the best option in goal for Tampa Bay this season. If it chooses to rest him, however, head coach Jon Cooper might turn to Louis Domingue (4-2), who has a .890 save percentage and 3.36 goals against average this year.

The visiting Lightning will be led by Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov. Point has 22 points on 12 goals and 10 assists, and has recorded two or more points in five different games. Kucherov has seven goals and 14 assists to his name, and has registered at least one point in 11 games.

Philadelphia is 9-10 straight up (SU) and has lost 2.4 units for moneyline bettors this year. 12 of its outings have gone over the total, while seven have gone under and none have pushed. The team is 4-6 SU at home thus far.

Philadelphia has converted on just 12.7 percent of its power play opportunities this year, a mark that places it in the bottom overall among NHL teams. On the other hand, its penalty kill is ranked 30th overall, and it’s successfully killed off 71.2 percent of all penalties.

Philadelphia skaters have been sent to the penalty box 4.5 times per game this season, and 3.2 per game over their last five at home. The team’s been forced to kill penalties just 8.0 minutes per game over their last five home outings.
