The playoff picture is mostly set, but here’s a primer for you. The only team that has secured it’s spot, seed and a first round bye is the New Orleans Saints. And while the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams are all set up for a first round bye (and the Chiefs for home-field advantage in the AFC), they’ll all have to win very winnable games to lock that in. If the Chiefs lose against the Oakland Raiders, they could not only slip from the one seed, they could fall to the fifth seed and the Los Angeles Chargers take over as the AFC West champions and top seed in the AFC playoffs. The Chargers are in the playoffs and can be no worse than the No. 5 in the AFC.

In the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys are set as the No. 4 seed and, like the Saints, can’t change that. The Chicago Bears are set as the No. 3, but could move up to the two in they beat the Minnesota Vikings in Minnesota and the Rams stumble against the San Francisco 49ers. The Seattle Seahawks are in, win or lose against the Arizona Cardinals, as the No. 5 or No. 6 seed.

The Houston Texans have secured a playoff spot, but they could get a first round bye with a victory and a Patriots loss. If Houston loses, they’ll immediately drop from the No. 3 to the No. 5 seed as either the Indianapolis Colts or Tennessee Titans will take over as AFC South champions. The Colts and Titans are in a play-in game, with the winner securing a playoff spot and the loser hitting the couch for January.

If the Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns, they’re AFC North champs. If they win and the Texans and Patriots lose, they can be the No. 2 seed. The Pittsburgh Steelers must beat the Cincinnati Bengals and need the Ravens to lose to claim the AFC North title and make the playoffs.

Finally, the Minnesota Vikings are in as the No. 6 seed if they beat the Chicago Bears at US Bank Stadium. If they lose and the Philadelphia Eagles win, then the Eagles claim the spot. If both teams lose, then the Vikings back into the playoffs by default.

Chris has hit 8-of-9 on his Bulletproof Picks, going with the Buffalo Bills to keep the New England Patriots from covering a huge, two-touchdown line last week. Glenn went with the dog against the Los Angeles Rams, but the Arizona Cardinals weren’t nearly as hearty as the Bills.

Chris and Glenn both deliver their Bulletproof pick, they answer the fan question of the week and their Capper’s Cup pick.
