The MMAmazing Podcast: Episode 1

Introducing the MMAmazing Podcast hosted by Oscar Willis, a new weekly podcast that covers the latest and largest news in the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

To be published every Wednesday, MMAmazing is designed to give you the biggest news, quickly. Hosted by yours truly, Oscar Stephens-Willis. A little bit about me, I’ve been a journalist at various establishments, including NBC London. A combat sports fan for over ten years, I began training Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu, before turning my attention to covering the sport, when I was hired by GetMoreSports.com.

Episode one is a short one at only ten minutes, but expect next weeks show to be slightly longer. Content may change depending on news and events that take place in the combat sports world.

This week, we’ll be taking a look at Ronda Rousey’s appearance on The Ellen Show, and her comments she made about feeling so low, suicide genuinely crossed her mind. I’ll be discussing the danger of ignoring these comments just because of Rousey’s star power, as well as what comes next for the former Bantamweight champion. Is a rematch with Holly Holm really what’s best for Rousey?

Also covered is Quinton Jackson’s return to Bellator, and who he might end up facing in the near future.

This is my first podcast, and as such needs work. Any comments or feedback, even negative, are appreciated. Any thoughts or questions you may have, can either be asked in the comment section or sent to me on Twitter (link below).

Thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoy.
