The Voice Results Show!

The Voice

Happy Birthday to Kelly Clarkson! It’s her first results show of The Voice and live voting night. It’s a results and a performance nights as some of the judges will perform with their team.

Britton Buchanan was the most streamed artist on Apple, which might give an indication of the front-runner with fans.

Carson announces the first three safe names of The Voice, in no particular order. They are:

Britton Buchanan (Team Alicia) — again, a front-runner
Brynn Cartelli (Team Kelly)
Sharane Calister (Team Adam)

In between results, there are performances and Carson Daly asks the contestants questions about their experiences so far.

The next two safe artists are:

Pryor Baird (Team Blake)
Cristiana Daniella (Team Alicia)

Okay, Claire is so cute asking the judges and the contestants questions.

It’s time for more results. Seven artists remain for six more slots. The next safe artists are:

Spensha Baker  (Team Blake)
Caleb Lee (Team Kelly)

So far:
Blake — 2
Kelly — 2
Alicia — 2
Adam — 1

The kids from the NBC show Rise show up for a special appearance as well. Love that show.

After the performance, it’s time for more results and more questions. Three will be safe and two will perform where America votes and decides on the spot who is moving on.

America saved:

Jackie Verna (Team Adam)
Kyla Jade (Team Blake) — Blake’s team is the first to have all the members go through.
Jackie Foster (Team Alicia) — Alicia’s team goes unscathed tonight.

The lowest two — D.R. and Rayshun perform for the votes. From Team Kelly, D.R. is up first and he sings “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” by The Temptations. Next up is Rayshun Lamar, from Team Adam, who sings “I Can’t Stand The Rain.”

It comes down to tweets and retweets and America had only five minutes to get their votes in. Instantly on the screen at home, we can see that Rayshun LaMarr gets a huge lead on D.R. King. That drops slightly before the break ends, but unfortunately not enough for D.R., who leaves tonight.
