The Toledo Rockets (2-0) head to Wright State to take on the Raiders (1-1) in a matchup that pits phenomenal offense against tremendous defense. The game is scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

The Rockets will be looking for similar success after thoroughly outplaying the Wilberforce Bulldogs in their last game, 99-58. The Rockets had a much better free throw rate (0.349 vs. 0.164) and had a much better turnover percentage (14.7 vs. 25.0). Toledo rallied around Willie Jackson, who was the game’s leading scorer with 17 points on 6-for-8 shooting.

The last time the Raiders were in action, they lost big to the Murray State Racers, 73-54. Murray State’s offensive rebounding percentage was their biggest strength over Wright State. The Racers had a rate of 42.9, while the Raiders posted a mark of 23.7. With 15 points and seven rebounds, Wright State’s Loudon Love had a solid game.

The game should be a showdown of strength against strength as the high-octane offense of Toledo takes on the elite defense of Wright State. Dating back to the 2017-18 season, the Rockets rank 19th in offensive efficiency, while the Raiders are 12th in defensive efficiency.
