Howard penned a record-breaking extension

Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard and the Miami Dolphins reached an agreement on a five-year extension worth of $76.5 million that includes $46M guaranteed. This deal made Howard the highest-paid cornerback and it’s the largest extension for a player at his position.

Dolphins are signing CB Xavien Howard to a record five-year, $76.5 million extension that includes $46M guaranteed, making him the highest paid CB in the NFL, sources tell ESPN. It’s the largest extension for a CB. Since becoming a 2nd-round pick, Howard has gone to one Pro Bowl.

Wilkins signed with a smile on his face

The Miami Dolphins selected former Clemson Tigers defensive tackle Christian Wilkins with the No. 13 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and we all remember him as a man who almost took Commissioner Roger Goodell to ground during the celebration. Wilkins signed his first pro contract with the Dolphins and was quite happy with it.

Welcome to the NFL, rookies!

The Denver Broncos experienced a rather successful 2019 NFL Draft as they selected some hot prospects such as tight end Noah Fant and quarterback Drew Lock. They opened a rookie minicamp and welcomed the rookies to Denver.

End of an era

The Seattle Seahawks decided to terminate contracts to a couple of Super Bowl winners and Pro Bowlers after they failed to pass physicals. They spent seven seasons together in Seattle and the fans will definitely be sad to see them go. Check out which two players we’re talking about.

Top offenses of the 2019 campaign

Chris Wesseling picks out the top 10 offenses of the upcoming season and it’s interesting that he omitted Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots from the list and here you can see Wesseling’s selection. You will probably not be surprised with his top pick, though.
