It was a night of celebration for the Blue Jays and their 20-year-old slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. In this day and age, of course, that celebration spilled over onto social media, where many of Major League Baseball’s best posts on Tuesday came from Guerrero’s two-homer game. There was also a basketball enemy in Oakland acting like a baseball friend and a friendly battle-of-Florida spat between the Tampa Bay Rays and Florida Marlins.

- Blazers star Damian Lillard wore a custom Athletics jersey before Game 1 of the NBA’s Western Conference Finals in Oakland. So he was the enemy in basketball, but is “Rooted in Oakland” just like the A’s. Hmm, awkward.
- So were the Marlins trying to pull Kevin Kiermaier off the bag here? Like, a hidden-ball trick? Or should they have been called for interference. Weird play, cool social media spat.
