Top Posts from OBJ, Baker Mayfield, and More

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

It’s the middle of the offseason, so that means it’s time to blow things out of proportion. On his radio show yesterday, Colin Cowherd had a Family Feud style segment of the Top 10 moments in Odell Beckham Jr.’s career, and the former New York Giants receiver was not to happy about it. OBJ unleashed a mini Tweetstorm shortly after Cowherd’s segment, lampooning the radio host among other things. Cowherd is known as a firebrand of controversy, but OBJ didn’t exactly set the world on fire last season either.

Beckham’s new quarterback is no stranger to controversy and quickly leaped in to defend one of his newest receivers. Baker Mayfield called out the radio host too, and he showed a lot of support to OBJ. The Cleveland Browns have received more hype than any other team in the offseason, and the acquisition of Beckham and the maturation of Mayfield are two of the driving forces behind it.

Ted Ginn Jr. has laid down the gauntlet to the rest of the NFL. Ginn says he’s the fastest player in the league, and he is willing to bet $10,000 on his legs. Props to Ginn for being willing to put his money where his mouth is, but he could be paying out a lot of money if other players take him up on the bet. Ginn is 34 years old, and there are surely players in the NFL that are faster than him at this point in his career.

Josh Norman joined the list of people publicly criticizing New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman for his decisions this offseason. Norman did not mince words, and the below quote is sure to be bandied about prior to both of these teams’ meetings this season. The Giants could be one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2019.
