The Colorado Avalanche shut out the San Jose Sharks in Game 4 with a 3-0 victory, and now the series shifts to San Jose. Goaltender Philipp Grubauer was a monster at goal, while Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen flourished on offense. Grubauer wrote history

Philipp Grubauer recorded a shutout in the Colorado Avalanche’s 3-0 win over the San Jose Sharks with 32 saves, becoming the first German-born goaltender in NHL history to record a shutout in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Nathan MacKinnon opened the scoring in the Colorado Avalanche’s 3-0 win over San Jose Sharks in Game 4. He continued a hot streak of eight straight games in the playoffs with at least a point. He joined elite company and needs two more games with a point to tie legendary Joe Sakic’s record.
