Although the Raptors topped the Dallas Mavericks in their last matchup, 116-107, they failed to cover as 11-point favorites. The total points for the game (223) were just over the projected point total of 221.5. The Raptors held the Mavericks to an offensive rebounding percentage of 20.8 (below the 27.3 mark opponents have averaged against Toronto this season) and had a better effective field goal percentage (0.544 vs. 0.478). Toronto received a boost from Kyle Lowry, who recorded 20 points and 12 assists.

In the Bucks’ last matchup, they won big over the Orlando Magic, 113-91, comfortably covering as 9-point favorites. They were 21-23 (91.3 percent), while the Magic were 15-17 (88.2 percent). With 18 points and seven rebounds, Khris Middleton played well for Milwaukee.

The physical Milwaukee offense could be living from the free throw line in this showdown. Dating back to the 2017-18 season, the Bucks rank fifth in the league with a free throw attempt (FTA) rate of 0.215, while Toronto ranks 24th in FTA rate allowed (0.211).

Meanwhile, Milwaukee owns records of 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS. Coinciding with Toronto, Bucks games also have typically finished over the total (66.7 percent).

The Raptors won two out of three contests against the Bucks last season. In the last contest, Milwaukee won 122-119. Milwaukee had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (28.9 vs. 11.6). Toronto, meanwhile, had a better turnover percentage (10.6 vs. 15.0).
