Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italy international, 26, is a target for Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi and faces competition from Manchester City, Arsenal, Juventus and AC Milan, who are also said to hold historic interest in the player.
Tonali’s future at Newcastle is described as increasingly uncertain: he has two years remaining on his contract and the club may look to sell this summer for a fee in the region of £80 million, according to Romano.
Chelsea are reported to be tracking Crystal Palace centre back Maxence Lacroix, The Daily Mail says. Lacroix, 26, is at the World Cup after helping Palace win the Europa Conference League and is under contract until 2029; the paper adds that Arsenal and Real Madrid have also shown interest. The Blues also held talks with the agent of Atalanta right back Marco Palestra, Nicolo Schira reports, with Atalanta reportedly seeking bids above €50 million.
Manchester United are considering a move for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, The Athletic reports. The 24-year-old Netherlands international impressed despite West Ham’s relegation and is among United’s left‑wing targets, with a potential fee around £50 million.
Real Madrid have made an enquiry for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, Sky Germany reports, with new manager José Mourinho said to rate the 25‑year‑old. Nmecha impressed in Germany’s 7-1 World Cup win over Curaçao and is under contract at Dortmund until 2030; a €70 million release clause becomes active next summer, Sky Germany adds.
Separately, TalkSPORT reports Bayern Munich are set to sign PSV forward Ismael Saibari in a deal worth more than €50 million, with the 25‑year‑old scheduled for a medical in the United States.
