TUF 24 Finals Odds for Saturday’s UFC

TUF 24 Finals Odds

TUF 24 Finals Odds – This Saturday, December 3rd the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the UFC as they air “The Ultimate Fighter 24” finale show on Fox Sports 1. Fight odds and over/under lines are available.

The main event sees 125 pound champion Demetrious Johnson (24-2-1) taking on Tim Elliott (13-6-1). Elliott went 2-4 in an earlier stint with the UFC and he was cut. He won three fights in a row on lesser shows and then he won 4 “exhibition” type fights in a row on the reality series to set up this showdown with Johnson. Johnson is nothing short of the UFC’s top pound for pound fighter and he has been proving it over and over. He is on a ten fight winning streak that has seen him take ownership of the flyweight division. The UFC was forced to look to their reality series to find an opponent for Johnson. Though he has performed well this year, Elliott still has not done enough to deserve a title shot.

Henry Cejudo and Joseph Benavides were the coaches for the 24th season of the UFC’s reality series, and the pair will meet in the co-feature fight. This match-up pits two very hard nosed fighters, as Benavides has operated at the top of his weight class for a long time. Cejudo has less time in MMA but he is an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling. Both men have fallen short against Demetrious Johnson and the winner will likely be in a position to challenge Johnson again.

At welterweight, Jorge Masvidal (30-11) takes on Jake Ellenberger (31-11) in a match-up of two fighters with nearly identical records who are stuck in the middle of the pack in terms of the welterweight roster. Both men have been floundering, going 2-3 in their last five fights. Ellenberger is a hard hitter who tends to tire later in fights while Masvidal thrives in drawing out a fight and outlasting his opponents.

Women’s action sees a another clash of veterans trying to get back on track as Alexis Davis (17-6) and Sara McMann (9-3) meet in three round action. Davis is seeing her first action in more than a year and a half. McMann is coming off a win against Jessica Eye back in May but prior to that the rugged wrestler had gone 1-3 in her last four fights. Davis is best remembered for her 16 second loss to Ronda Rousey back in July of 2014, but she did return from that fight to armbar Sara Kaufman to move her record to 4-1 overall in the UFC.
