UAPB Golden Lions at Texas Tech Red Raiders Betting Prediction

The Golden Lions are hoping for a better outcome after their 76-60 loss to the San Diego State Aztecs in their last matchup. San Diego State’s turnover percentage was their largest strength over UAPB. The Aztecs had a rate of 15.4, while the Golden Lions posted a mark of 22.5. Martaveous McKnight was the game’s high scorer with 29 points on 12-for-26 shooting.

The last time the Red Raiders played, they had no trouble getting past the UIW Cardinals, 87-37. The Red Raiders had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.675 vs. 0.286) and had a much better turnover percentage (18.2 vs. 34.6). Jarrett Culver was the game’s top scorer with 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the field.

Looking at effective field goal percentage, Texas Tech should have a noteworthy edge. Since the 2017-18 season, the Red Raiders defense ranks sixth in effective field goal percentage allowed (0.452), while the UAPB offense ranks 310th in effective field goal percentage (0.483). Ball protection could be troublesome for the Golden Lions. They rank 314th at avoiding errors (turnover percentage of 20.8 percent), while the Red Raiders have forced the 18th-most turnovers in the nation (opponents’ turnover percentage of 22.5 percent).
