UFC Fight Night 74 Preliminary Card Odds

This Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 74 comes to us from Canada with a full, 12-fight card headlined by highly ranked featherweights Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira.

The undercard features several fights and fighters worth watching as well, with Ukraine’s Maryna Moroz facing the rugged Valerie LeTourneau in a strawweight bout.  Moroz was a relative unknown when she made her UFC debut by wiping out highly rated Joanne Calderwood in a minute and a half, but she will enter this fight firmly on everyone’s radar. LeTorneau  is 2-0 herself in the UFC, and unlike Calderwood, she will not be looking past Morosz.

Also an interesting prospect is Misha Cirkunov (9-2), a light heavyweight who is making his UFC debut.  Cirkunov has been around the fighting scene for more than a decade, starting with his participation in the ADCC World Submission Wrestling World Championships.

He is a powerful wrestler who has always been around good coaching in his now native Canada.  Here he has a chance to notch that first UFC win as he faces late replacement Daniel Jolly. Jolly is 5-0, but he is stepping in on short notice and he has been inactive for over a year.

The undercard also sees bantamweights Yves Jabouin and Felipe Arantes square off in a bout between two fighters that have gone 1-2 in their last three outings and are in desperate need of a win.  It is a sign of how far down Jabouin’s prestige has fallen as he is fighting as an underdog despite being at home in Canada.
