This weekend’s UFC on FOX 16 card features a solid undercard set to air on FOX and on the UFC’s Fight Pass.  The undercard is loaded with veterans who are either looking to extend winning streaks or are in desperate need of a win.

In the welterweight division, big Ben Saunders (18-6-2) , who had a 4-3 record in a previous UFC run before being cut back in 2010, is looking to go 3-0 under this current contract.  It comes as a bit of a surprise, as Saunders had a run with Bellator that saw him go 7-3.  Saunders faces surging Kenny Robertson, who is looknig for his fourth win in a row.

At bantamweight, Eddie Wineland returns to face Bryan Caraway.  Wineland is 3-4 in the UFC and he is coming off a long layoff after a loss to Johnny Eduardo where he was KO’d in the first round in May of 2014.  Caraway (19-7) is also coming off a loss, as he dropped a unanimous decision to Raphael Assuncao in October of last year.  Of the two, Caraway has a positive 4-2 UFC record, meaning Wineland needs the win even more.

The Ultimate Fighter reality show veteran Ramsey Nikem (9-5) is also coming off a long layoff as he last fought in August of 2014, when he took a loss to Carlos Diego Ferreira.  Nikem faces undefeated Andrew Holbrook (9-0) who is making his UFC debut after winning all his fights out on the midwest circuit.

In the ladies division, Jessamyne Duke faces Elizabeth Phillips in a fight between to girls who are 0-2 in the UFC.  Can you say “Loser gets a pink slip”?
