The talk of a welterweight clash between top flight pugilists Ruslan Provodnikov and Brandon Rios has reached the advanced stages, with the fight likely going down late in 2014.

Both are sluggers who don’t like to move much in the ring. It would be a big surprise if this one doesn’t eventually deteriorate into both men just standing in front of each other punching each other in the face. Look for the books to open with Provodnikov as a favorite……
