Video Blog: Combat Sports Betting For Weekend of Dec. 6

The weekend of Dec. 5 and 6 is upon us, and there is a lot of Boxing and MMA action all over the world for the Combat Sports betting enthusiast!

In MMA on Friday, ONEFC 23 is in the Philippines and the all-women’s Invicta 10 card is in Texas, while UFC 181 and Poland’s KSW 29 are on the schedule for Saturday and all have lines up at the books.  Over in the world of boxing, the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn is hosting a card that will air on HBO and features hard hitting Canadian David Lemieux.

Heavyweight prospect Joseph Parker fights in Australia and there are several lines up for the boxing match at London’s York Hall.  Fights in Mexico, Luxembourg and Germany round out the current odds being offered, with our blogger hanging on to some hope that ladies boxing will make a last minute appearance at the books, as no less than four elite ladies matches are going down this weekend,

In our ongoing series on combat sports, our veteran blogger Miguel Iturrate is currently working with about $1,700 or so in the bank.  For this coming weekend, he placed four bets, two from boxing and two from the world of MMA.  The juice was put down on boxing as two fighters who are favored to win where selected, while in the world of MMA, two underdogs were picked.  Take a look at who Iturrate put his money on:

Miguel Iturrate started in the MMA business in the crazy early days of the mid-nineties. He has match-made more than 100 MMA events in Japan, Brazil, Russia and all over the United States, and played an integral role in MMA’s early modern history. Through Hook 'n' Shoot, Florida’s AFC, the Euphoria shows and bodogfight, Iturrate has left an indelible mark on MMA history. He can also lay claim to a record that not even the UFC can by contracting 36 fights in three days.
