VMI Keydets vs. UNCG Spartans ATS Preview 01/31/19

The UNCG Spartans (19-3, 8-1 SoCon) will attempt to lengthen their five-game winning streak against the VMI Keydets (7-14, 1-8 SoCon) at Greensboro Coliseum. The game is scheduled to get underway at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

VMI Keydets at UNCG Spartans Free Prediction

The last time the Keydets played, they were topped by the Citadel Bulldogs, 84-82. Citadel’s effective field goal percentage was their biggest strength over VMI. UNCG had a much better turnover percentage (10.6 vs. 23.5). VMI, on the other hand, had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.500 vs. 0.383).

The productive offense of UNCG will clash against the porous defense of VMI. The Spartans currently rank 55th in offensive efficiency, while the Keydets are 303rd in defensive efficiency. The Spartans figure to have the edge on that side of the ball.
