On NBC’s The Voice it’s the second night of the head-to-head battles and up first is Team Kelly’s Amber Sauer against Jorge Eduardo. Kelly is sweating! Again, she’s so damn cute in this show. Amber was the backup vocalist for Natalie Cole and other celebrity singers, but now it’s her time. Kelly says that both of them are very passionate singers which is why she pitted them against each other.
They are singing “Starving” by Hailee Steinfeld and they surprise Kelly and Hailee adding in Spanish lyrics.The chemistry between them is great and let’s see who takes it home.
Kelly looks troubled and seems seriously confused as to who to pick. So far Alicia and Adam like Jorge, while Blake chooses Jorge. Kelly calls it her dumbest move pitting them against each other and chooses Jorge.

Next up is Adam’s team and the battle between Davison and Reid Umstattd. Coached by Julia Michaels, Davison wants Grammys like Julia has. This totally opposite pairing will be interesting to hear. Adam wants both guys to get their identities out there. Julia was impressed with Reid.

My impressions? Davison is kind of expected to nail this song, but Reid surpassed my expectations. Let’s see what the judges say. Blake calls it split down the middle and says he would go with Davison, but Reid shocked him. No judge wants to help Adam make this tough decision. The winner of this battle is Reid. Smile Reid!
As the night went on, there were other battles that we didn’t see in their entirety on The Voice:
Team Blake: Bransen Ireland vs. Jaron Strom singing “Head Over Boots.” Winner: Jaron
Team Alicia: Johnny Bliss vs Megan Lee singing “Versace on the Floor.” Winner: Johnny
Team Kelly: Jamella vs Teana Boston singing “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.” Winner: Jamella
Competing next on The Voice is Team Alicia’s 17-year-old Jordyn Simone against Kelsea Johnson. They are singing “Don’t Let Go,” and while they have similar voices, there are slight differences, so it will be interesting to see who takes over. They do sound amazing together. Judge for yourself:

Adam would pick Jordan, but thought they were both amazing. Blake chooses Kelsea. Kelly would choose Kelsea but thinks they are both fantastic. The winner of the battle is Kelsea. Adam hits his button to steal Jordyn and so does Kelly! Hilarious banter between Kelly and Adam and Jordyn chooses Adam.
Next week there will be three nights of The Voice — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
