WATCH: Tampa Rays’ Yandy Diaz Hits Doppelgänger Playoff Home Runs

Certainly, every time you think you have seen it all in the game of baseball; you will be humbled. Therefore – when Tampa Rays’ slugger Yandy Diaz homered twice in the AL Wildcard Playoff game – you probably thought about what we are about to show you.

Coincidentally, Diaz achieves some Rays history with his first home run. Furthermore, it was the first leadoff home run in Tampa Rays postseason history. Now with that out of the way, there was only one way for Diaz to follow the act.

Indeed, in the top of the third inning; Diaz re-emerges to get A’s starter Sean Manaea for a second time. However, take a look at the replays. Remarkably, Diaz hits an almost-identical home run to the first one. This is unbelievable.

The MLB Playoffs are off to a big start. Last night, it was the Juan Soto show with the 20-year old playing hero; then getting mugged for a hug from dad. Now, all the talk will be Diaz’s twin homers that buried Oakland once again.

Unfortunately for Billy Beane and company in Oakland, it looks like another early winter. And for the Tampa Bay Rays, a date with the Houston Astros likely awaits.
