The Favorites

Sam Burns (+750): Burns started off with a 72 at the Savannah Championship, then shot three 65 rounds in a row to win his first Web.com title. He has finishes of T-2, T-20 and a win in his last three starts, and don’t forget that he outplayed Tiger Woods when the two were paired together at the final round of the Valspar Championship. From tee to green, Burns is playing as well as anyone on the Web.com Tour and it would be a surprise if he wasn’t in the mix this weekend.

Sungjae Im (+2000): Im still leads the Web.com Tour in money after finishing T-8 at the Savannah Championship. He has now finished in the top ten three times this season, including a win at the Great Exuma Classic in the Bahamas, and he also finished T-11 in Louisiana. Im gives himself plenty of chances at birdies as he ranks 12th on the Web.com Tour in Greens-In-Regulation.

Next In Line

Cameron Davis (+2000): Davis is back on the Web.com Tour after stumbling to a +13 in Panama, including a final-round 78. Still, Davis has plenty of potential at 23 years old and he won the Emirates Australian Open in November, holding off the likes of Jonas Blixt and Matt Jones. If he can keep his nerves under wraps in Mississippi, Davis should be able to show why he is so highly thought of.

Scott Langley (+2200): Langley is coming off a T-3 at the Savannah Championship, and he has finished in the top ten three times this season, including a win in Panama. Langley is 20th in driving accuracy and fourth in Greens-In-Regulation. If his putter is even a little hot this weekend, you’ll see his name near the top of the leaderboard.

Julian Etulain (+2200): Etulain followed up his win in Louisiana by finishing T-5 at the Savannah Championship, his third top-ten of the season. The Argentinean is a great scrambler and ranks seventh on the Web.com Tour in putting. However, he is 112th in driving accuracy and if he could improve on that, Etulain would be a weekly challenger.

Sleeper Picks

Edward Loar (+4000): Loar had a solid T-5 performance at the Savannah Championship, his second top-ten finish of the year. He is 14th on the Web.com Tour in scoring average and if he gets a few breaks, Loar could be within reach of his first win since Louisiana in March 2013.

Chase Wright (+5500): Wright finished T-8 at the Savannah Championship for his second top-ten of the season, and he is another solid golfer from tee to green. If he could improve on his 31st-place ranking in putting, Wright could pick up his first Web.com Tour win.
