Weekend Action Includes Vancouver Whitecaps vs Portland Timbers

MLS Odds:  It is a busy weekend of action in the MLS with six games on Saturday and six on Sunday including the Vancouver Whitecaps visiting the Portland Timbers.  These two rivals are separated by just four points in the Western Conference standings.  Here is a look at all of the matches for this weekend and MLS predictions.

Saturday, May 31st

Real Salt Lake at Seattle Sounders

This is a battle for first in the West as the Seattle Sounders are two points in front of RSL.   Eight of the last nine meetings in this series have gone under the total so I will play the under.

Columbus Crew at Toronto FC

The Columbus Crew have won five of the last six in this series. I will take the plus money with the road team.
Sporting Kansas City at DC United

These two teams are battling for second in the East.  KC has owned this series and most of the games have been low scoring.  I will take the road team in this one and also play the under.

New England Revolution at Montreal Impact

I will continue to ride the red-hot New England Revolution. I will lay the small price and take the road team.

San Jose Earthquakes at FC Dallas

I will lay the price and take the home team.

Philadelphia Union at Chivas USA

I will pass on this one.

Sunday, June 1st

Vancouver Whitecaps at Portland Timbers

The home team will be a slight favorite in this Cascadia Cup matchup.  Every time these teams meet it is a close contest that is normally decided late.  In fact, the last eight meetings have been decided by one goal. The last three meetings in this series have ended in a draw. I will take this one to end in a draw at MLS odds of more than 2-1.

Los Angeles Galaxy at Chicago Fire

I will take the road team to win this one.

Houston Dynamo at Colorado Rapids

The Houston Dynamo continues to struggle in road games. I will take the Colorado Rapids in this one.
