Weekend WNBA action includes Minnesota Lynx at San Antonio Silver Stars

WNBA Odds: This weekend’s action in the WNBA has one game on Saturday and four on Sunday. One of the games on Sunday has the San Antonio Silver Stars hosting the defending WNBA champions, the Minnesota Lynx.   This will be the back half of a home and home as the teams played in Minnesota on Friday. Here is a look at all of the games this weekend and WNBA predictions.

Saturday, May 31st

New York Liberty at Indiana Fever

This is a tough spot for the New York Liberty who are playing with no rest as they were in Washington on Friday. I will lay the points and take the home team in this game.

Sunday, June 1st

Minnesota Lynx at San Antonio Silver Stars

The Minnesota Lynx have picked up right where they left off last year when they won the title. They were unbeaten at 5-0 before the first half of this home and home on Friday. They were leading the league in scoring at 87 points per game. They were allowing 82 points per game which was 10th in the league. Even though the Minnesota Lynx had won their first five games they were just 2-3 against the spread. The San Antonio Silver Stars went into Friday’s game at 3-2. I will take the points in this one and go with the home team.

Atlanta Dream at Connecticut Sun

Both of these teams are off to slow starts this season. I will pass on this game.

Los Angeles Sparks at Washington Mystics

This is just the fourth game of the season for the Los Angeles Sparks who come into this game at 2-1. They will likely be road favorites in this one. I will lay the points and take the Los Angeles Sparks.

Tulsa Shock at Seattle Storm

Neither team is playing well but at least the Seattle Storm have a win and they will be playing this game at home. I will lay the points in WNBA odds and take the Seattle Storm in this contest.
