The FIFA World Cup will begin on June 11 in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Ten African nations will take part; several have already published final rosters while others are yet to name their 26-player squads.
FIFA required nations to submit provisional lists of between 35 and 55 players, including at least four goalkeepers, by May 11, according to FIFA. Those preliminary lists are primarily administrative, and countries were not obliged to make them public.
Final 26-player squads must be submitted to FIFA by June 1 and are scheduled to be officially announced on June 2, according to FIFA, though many federations release their selections earlier. As of the latest updates, Ivory Coast and Tunisia announced final squads on May 15, while Cape Verde and DR Congo released rosters on May 18.
