Wrexham AFC confirmed the addition of two attacking players on transfer deadline day, strengthening their squad for the second half of the season. The club announced the signing of forward Davis Keillor-Dunn from Barnsley, a League One outfit. The deal is seen as a strategic move to enhance the team’s offensive capabilities as they continue their campaign in League Two.

Keillor-Dunn brings with him a track record of goal-scoring and attacking flair. The forward had played a key role at Barnsley, contributing consistently in the final third throughout his tenure with the club. Known for his work rate and technical ability, Keillor-Dunn is expected to integrate quickly into Wrexham’s setup.

In addition to Keillor-Dunn, Wrexham also brought in teenage striker Louie Marsh from Sheffield United. Marsh, a promising young prospect, joins the club after gaining experience at various youth levels. The club has not disclosed terms of the transfer, but Marsh is viewed as a developmental addition with potential to contribute immediately and grow in the long term.

These signings reflect the ambitions of Wrexham’s ownership group and management to improve squad depth and performance. Since the team’s acquisition by actors Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, Wrexham has aimed for upward mobility within the English football pyramid. The club is currently competing in League Two after securing promotion from the National League.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson will be hopeful that the new arrivals can make an immediate impact on the pitch. Keillor-Dunn’s experience in the higher division and Marsh’s youthful energy provide the team with more options as they push toward their season objectives. With the added depth, Wrexham may be better positioned to contend for promotion or at least secure a stronger finish in the league standings.

The club is expected to integrate both players into training immediately, with the goal of featuring them in upcoming fixtures, depending on match fitness and registration clearance. Wrexham supporters will be watching closely to see how these additions influence the team’s performance in the crucial weeks ahead.
