WWE Fastlane 2017 Odds For Sunday PPV

WWE Fastlane 2017 Odds For Sunday PPV – The WWE’ latest PPV “Fastlane” is this Sunday March 5th live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The card is notable in that it i the last PPV before April’s Wrestle Mania, the company’s signature event.

And the Fastlane main event plays right into that as Universal champion Kevin Owens faces off against Goldberg with his title on the line. In the ring Owens is always terrific and his charactr as champion has only blossomed. He has held the belt for a long time and the story line where he and Chris Jericho are “friends” needs to end with a feud, so it makes sense for him to be giving the belt up right about now.

And Goldberg’s recent comeback where he has appeared in short stints and taken on his nemesis Brock Lesnar has been very successful. That feud between Goldberg and Lesnar is heading to a culmination at this year’s Wrestle Mania and what better way to enhance the bout than to send Goldberg in as Universal Champion. Goldberg is already in his 50’s as is well documented, and he has been used wisely in this recent comeback. Owens is a bludgeoning, rugged performer who is probably going to have to tone down the offense at some point against “Oldberg.” Or like Lesnar, he may not get any off at all.

After 10 years away from the ring, Goldberg is older, slower and weaker but he has proved he can still put on a show within a controlled time frame. He is still unlikely to fight a long, grueling contest with Owens, rather look for some type of gimmicky finish to this one as well. Possibly some type of influence on the outcome by Jericho could send Owens and Jericho off to feud while Goldberg sets his sights on what the WWE likes to think of as “The Greatest Show on Earth.”
