WWE Power Rankings, Week of 4/10/17

Welcome to the latest edition of the Get More Sports WWE Power Rankings, where we rank the top 25 Superstars of the last week based on performance and impact. This week was an exciting one, with the Superstar Shake-up seeing several men and women switching shows to freshen things up. This succeeded, and it led to a great week of television. Let’s see how this affects the Power Rankings.

  1. Braun Strowman (-)
It’s hard to say that anybody had a bigger impact this week than Braun Strowman. The mountain of a man attacked Roman Reigns during an interview, including throwing Reigns while he was attached to a gurney and tipping over an ambulance with him inside.
  2. Sami Zayn (-)
On Monday Night Raw, Zayn defeated the Miz. The following night, he put on a great performance in his debut match for SmackDown Live against AJ Styles and Baron Corbin.
  3. The Revival (+2)
After successfully injuring Kofi Kingston last week, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder defeated Big E and Xavier Woods for the second week in a row, after only being on the main roster since last week.
  4. Dean Ambrose (-)
The Intercontinental Champion kicked off the Superstar Shake-up by being the first Superstar (on television) to be switched to Monday Night Raw. In the main event, he defeated the United States Champion, Kevin Owens.
  5. Finn Balor (-1)
After returning to in-ring action last week, Finn Balor went one-on-one with Jinder Mahal. Mahal legitimately knocked Balor out during the match, but the former Universal Champion got back up and won the match.
  6. AJ Styles (+16)
Styles competed for the first time since WrestleMania in a #1 Contender’s Match against Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin. Styles came out the victor and will face whoever wins between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens at Payback.
  7. Shinsuke Nakamura (-1)
The King of Strong Style had already made a huge impact on the main roster without doing much of anything. Nakamura had a very brief confrontation with Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown Live, then said his official “farewell” to NXT the following night.
  8. Drew McIntyre (-)
McIntyre made his in-ring return to WWE this week after being away for three years. McIntyre reinvented himself, and his newfound aggression led to him having a great hard-hitting match against Oney Lorcan in the main event of NXT.
  9. The Usos (-)
Jimmy and Jey Uso defeated American Alpha a few weeks ago, then captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championships the following week. This week, American Alpha cashed in their rematch clause, but the Usos retained the gold.
  10. Nia Jax (+5)
While Alexa Bliss and Mickie James made an impact by joining the Raw roster, Jax interrupted to destroy James, Sasha Banks, and Bayley.
  11. TJ Perkins (-)
Perkins managed to get a roll-up victory over Austin Aries thanks to a distraction from Neville, but he had a change of attitude after the match. Perkins assaulted Aries, then proceeded to defeat Jack Gallagher the following night and align himself with Neville.
  12. The Hardy Boyz (-9)
The current Raw Tag Team Champions teamed up with Sheamus and Cesaro to defeat the Shining Stars, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. While they didn’t do much this week, they still are huge with the crowd.
  13. Oney Lorcan (+5)
Yet again, Oney Lorcan showed that he can put on great matches with just about anybody. Lorcan helped McIntyre look like a million bucks, and even though Lorcan lost, he put on a great performance.
  14. Tye Dillinger (-7)
The Perfect 10 picked up his second consecutive victory since being called up to the main roster when he defeated Aiden English.
  15. Charlotte (-)
After ending up on the losing side of her efforts over the past couple months, the four-time Raw Women’s Champion was one of the biggest Superstars to be part of the shake-up when she switched to SmackDown Live.
  16. Kevin Owens (+1)
Since Raw gained the Intercontinental Championship, SmackDown evened things out by drafting the United States Champion, Kevin Owens. Owens didn’t compete, but he fit right in by appearing on Talking Smack.
  17. Kevin Owens (-14)
The United States Champion prevented Chris Jericho from competing on Raw by powerbombing him through a table backstage. In hindsight, that was a bad idea since he lost to Finn Balor.
  18. Aleister Black (-)
Black competed in his first match on NXT television, and he won the entire match with just one swift kick called Black Mass.
  19. Dylan Miley (-)
Miley lost in a tag team match to #DIY, and it seemed like he was just another irrelevant enhancement talent. However, Miley destroyed his tag team partner after the match, implying he might do the same to the regular NXT roster.
  20. The Shining Stars (-)
Primo and Epico attacked American Alpha after the latter team lost a SmackDown Tag Team Championship and showed a newfound aggression. Also, there was no timeshare-selling gimmick in sight whatsoever.
  21. Bray Wyatt (-)
The Eater of Worlds showed up as a new Superstar for Monday Night Raw, teasing a feud with Finn Balor. Before he officially makes the jump, he still messes with Randy Orton on SmackDown in order to capture the WWE Championship.
  22. Erick Rowan (-)
The only other member of the Wyatt Family has made his presence known since returning last week. Although he technically lost his match by disqualification, Rowan assaulted Randy Orton and left the WWE Champion laid out in the middle of the ring.
  23. Mojo Rawley (-)
SmackDown was in Boston this week, and Mojo Rawley’s friend (and Patriots Tight End) Rob Gronkowski helped him pick up yet another victory over Jinder Mahal.
  24. Tamina (-)
The second-generation Superstar returned from injury this week when she got drafted to SmackDown along with Charlotte in the Superstar Shake-up.
  25. Akira Tozawa (+0)
Brian Kendrick seemed to have his match won against Mustafa Ali when Akira Tozawa rang the ring bell before Ali could tap out. This confusion cost Kendrick the match and led to Tozawa lesson number two.
  • New to the Rankings This Week: Tamina, Mojo Rawley, Erick Rowan, Bray Wyatt, The Shining Stars, Dylan Miley, Aleister Black, Charlotte, TJ Perkins, The Usos, Drew McIntyre, Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman
  • Kicked off the Rankings: Roman Reigns, Naomi, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Neville, Bayley, Sheamus & Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Baron Corbin, Emma, Elias Samson, Austin Aries, Mustafa Ali, Heavy Machinery, Luke Harper
