This is undoubtedly the biggest week for WWE of the year. April 8 is WrestleMania, the biggest wrestling event in the world. Of course, this means that NXT TakeOver: New Orleans is on April 7, and that every episode of WWE television should be a treat.

Monday Night Raw (4.2.18)
Raw this weeks brings us a huge segment and two questions that need answers. First, there is a confirmed “face-to-face” between the team of Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle and Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The first question that needs answering is Braun Strowman’s tag partner. He is set to face The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Championships, but he hasn’t revealed who will be joining him yet. Lastly, The Undertaker still needs to respond to John Cena’s challenge.

SmackDown Live (4.3.18)
Oddly enough, there is nothing confirmed for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship scene, so expect a big announcement for that this week. Other than some minor finishing touches to stories, we could get a Shane McMahon appearance now that he is scheduled to compete alongside Daniel Bryan against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

WWE Mixed Match Challenge (4.3.18)
The finals of the Mixed Match Challenge are this week and they feature an interesting WrestleMania preview. The Miz and Asuka take on Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair to give money to their respective charities.

205 Live (4.3.18)
The only match confirmed for this week is United Kingdom star Mark Andrews taking on Drew Gulak in a  Cruiserweight Championship Tournament rematch. Most would think that 205 Live would buy time until after WrestleMania, but with the changed direction, they are thinking ahead.

WWE NXT (4.4.18)
After returning in dominant fashion last week, Lars Sullivan wanted a match against SAnitY’s Killian Dain just three days before they compete for the new NXT North American Championship. Perhaps there will be some final build for TakeOver: New Orleans’ matches, like Aleister Black responding to Andrade “Cien” Almas’ attack last week. Also, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic should be wrapping up this week.

NXT TakeOver: New Orleans (4.7.18)
For the first time since NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, NXT has its trademark event one night before WrestleMania. This weekend’s event features the future of NXT and WWE, showcasing the incredible depth that a “developmental” brand has to offer. Highlights include Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Aleister Black and the debut of several stars competing for the North American Championship.

Here is the full confirmed card as of this writing:

  • Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa – Unsanctioned Match (If Gargano loses, he is banned from NXT forever)
  • Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly (c) vs. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Winners – NXT Tag Team Championships
  • Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream vs. Lars Sullivan vs. Killian Dain vs. EC3 vs. Ricochet – NXT North American Championship
  • Ember Moon (c) vs. Shayna Baszler – NXT Women’s Championship
  • Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Aleister Black – NXT Championship

WrestleMania 34 (4.8.18)
For the second time in five years, WWE hosts WresteMania in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. This could be the biggest WrestleMania ever, with main-event caliber matches throughout the whole card. Like NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, there will be a more detailed preview later this week, but here is the current confirmed card for the show:

  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
  • WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
  • Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (If Owens and Zayn win, they are re-hired)
  • Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon
  • Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali – WWE Cruiserweight Championship
  • Randy Orton (c) vs. Rusev vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Bobby Roode – United States Championship
