Wyoming Cowboys at Evansville Aces Betting Prediction

The Cowboys come in on a high note after narrowly defeating the Richmond Spiders in their last contest, 68-66. The Cowboys had a much better free throw rate (0.200 vs. 0.069) and held the Spiders to an offensive rebounding percentage of 9.7 (below the 30.9 mark opponents have averaged against Wyoming this season). Wyoming received a boost from Justin James, who led the team in scoring with 29 points on 11-for-22 shooting.

The last time the Aces played, they lost to the Ball State Cardinals, 82-72. Ball State won the rebounding battle. The Cardinals had 16 offensive rebounds and 42 total rebounds, while the Aces had seven and 30, respectively. Evansville’s Shea Feehan had a good performance, leading the team in scoring with 19 points on 6-for-14 shooting.

It could be a difficult game for Evansville on the offensive glass. The Aces rank 311th in offensive rebounding percentage (24.1 percent), while Wyoming ranks 67th in defensive rebounding percentage (74.1 percent) dating back to last season. It will also be a matchup of contrasting tempos as the up-tempo Cowboys rank eighth in possessions per game, while the more methodical Aces rank 321st.
