2018 America’s Got Talent Recap and Odds — ICYMI

America's Got Talent

This season of America’s Got Talent has been fun so far. If you’ve missed it, tune in because you’ll see some of the most interestingly talented people and some contestants who you will wonder what they were thinking. Even those contestants make the show fun.

Just remember that the only “judge” to use the Golden Buzzer so far was Tyra. Did anyone use it this week? Read on to find out!

So each week I’ll recap America’s Got Talent and give you some highlights. Here are some of the stand out contestants:

Yumbo Dump: This is one of those acts where you are suffering second-hand embarrassment for them at first, wondering what they are going to do. I must admit I had my hand on the fast-forward button when they did their first noise with their bellies (a water drop) and I busted out laughing. And I kept watching. And watching.

They got through, of course.

Next was a great duet who sang an original song and their voices were awesome together. I really like them a lot, although I don’t think they’ll get far:

Lilly Wilker is a great animal impersonator and she’s so young! I’m not quite sure how she can top this or compete against the other contestants, but they put her through.

You’ll flip out over the Rossi Brothers. Now here’s an interesting thing. They talked about the brother who tore his ACL and then came back six months later. I don’t know if it’s a situation where they talked about the knee injury just to look better when they “fall” and come back and do it again. Was it to get the audience hyped about it? Who knows, but they

Okay, now watch out Queen Latifah because Christina is in town! This girl can saaaang her ass off and she’s absolutely amazing. One of my favorite singers in the America’s Got Talent competition, but hang on for another one coming soon…

Aaron Crow didn’t speak a word on America’s Got Talent, but absolutely left you speechless with his act where he was completely blindfolded and came at Howie Mandel with a sword while Howie had a pineapple on his head. I wasn’t impressed as a longstanding act, but watching Howie was priceless. Would you have stayed there?

This couple has been together for years and danced for the audience, but if you think it was a sweet ballroom dance, think again. They GOT DOWN! Okay, the audience loved this, but I was absolutely flabbergasted that they got put through. They were cute, but a competitive act? I don’t think so. They won’t last long.

Finally, Michael Ketterer talks about his adopted kids, including one who has cerebral palsy and this man and his family are such gentle inspirational souls. Then Michael goes and sings and knocks Simon Cowell’s socks off. He hits the golden buzzer!
