It took a bit longer than expected for Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the Blue Jays young phenom, to hit his first home run. But the second one didn’t take long at all — they both came Tuesday night in Toronto’s win against San Francisco. Speaking of standout performances, Red Sox ace Chris Sale had 17 strikeouts in seven innings but didn’t get a chance to go for 20 in a game Boston ended up losing in extra innings. And there are some comings and goings around baseball: Miguel Sano is set for his season debut in Minnesota and Kendrys Morales is headed from Oakland to the Bronx.

No, Vlad Jr. didn’t have an immediate home run impact when he came up. But he’s suddenly the youngest player to have a two-homer game.

Remember when Chris Sale was struggling, a whole month ago? Yeah, he’s not struggling anymore.

The Twins have a new home run threat back in their lineup. If Miguel Sano can stay healthy, this can be a game-changer in the AL Central.

The Yankees, who had to place Miguel Andujar back on the IL, picked up veteran Kendrys Morales while they deal with all their injuries.

At one time, the Dodgers’ Julio Urias was the best pitching prospect in baseball. He’s turned into a good Major Leaguer. But now his off-the-field choices might be ruining all of it.
