Baltimore Orioles – Detroit Tigers Preview – 09.09.2016

In the first of a three-game series between the Detroit Tigers (75-64) and the Baltimore Orioles (76-63) at Comerica Park, Michael Fulmer (10-6, 2.77 ERA) and Kevin Gausman (7-10, 3.58 ERA) get the ball. The game gets underway at 7:10 p.m. ET on Friday, Sep. 9 and will air on MAS2 and FSDT.

In his most recent outing, Fulmer pitched 6.0 innings, allowing three runs, striking out four and walking one in a 5-2 loss to the Royals. J.D. Martinez (.320, 62 Rs, 20 HRs, 56 RBIs, 1 SB) went 1 for 3 Wednesday with one run. The Orioles were victorious the last time Gausman pitched. He had a good outing, pitching 6.0 innings, allowing zero runs, striking out eight and walking two in a 2-0 victory over the Yankees. Manny Machado (.307, 96 Rs, 34 HRs, 90 RBIs) has been doing well, going 2 for 5 Wednesday with one run.
