New York Mets – Atlanta Braves Preview – 09.09.2016

Julio Teheran (5-9, 3.01 ERA) and Robert Gsellman (2-1, 2.87 ERA) take the hill in the first of a three-game series between the Atlanta Braves (54-86) and the New York Mets (74-66) at Turner Field. Teheran pitched 6.0 innings in his most recent start, surrendering zero runs, striking out seven and walking two in a 2-0 win over the Phillies. Matt Kemp (.262, 72 Rs, 28 HRs, 94 RBIs) continued his strong play Wednesday, going 3 for 6. Gsellman went 6.0 innings, surrendering one run, striking out four and walking three in a 3-1 win over the Nationals in his last outing. Yoenis Cespedes (.292, 59 Rs, 28 HRs, 71 RBIs, 2 SBs) went 1 for 5 Wednesday with one RBI.
