CFL Betting:  The British Columbia Lions host the Toronto Argonauts in the opener of Week 13 action in the CFL.  The Lions have won two straight and they are just a game out of second in the West.  The Argos have dropped four in a row but they are still just a half game out of first place in the East.  The Lions are 6.5 point home favorites in this contest.  Let’s look at all four games in Week 13 and CFL predictions.

Friday, September 19th

Toronto Argonauts at British Columbia Lions (B.C. -6.5, total 49.5)

This is just the type of game that BC would lose at home and the Argos have the offense to win this one. Plus the Argonauts are 16-7-1 ATS in their last 24 road games.  Looking at the total, the Under is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings.  We’ll go with the road team and the under in this game.

Saturday, September 20th

Edmonton Eskimos at Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Hamilton -2.5, total 51.5)

The Tiger-Cats have won both of their games at Tim Hortons Field. They could make it three wins if they can bet the Eskimos. The Eskimos are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 road games while the Tiger-Cats are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games.  The Under is 7-2 in Tiger-Cats last 9 home games. We’ll go against the trends on the side and take the Tiger-Cats to get the win but with the total we’ll go with the trends and play the under.

Sunday, September 21st

Calgary Stampeders at Montreal Alouettes (Stamps -7, total 48)

Drew Tate will get the start in this one with Bo Levi Mitchell hurt. That could be the difference with Montreal getting points at home. The Stampeders are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 road games. The Under is 10-1 in the Stampeders last 11 road games. The Under is 11-4 in the Alouettes last 15 games overall.  We’ll look for this game to go under the total.

Ottawa RedBlacks at Saskatchewan Roughriders (Saskt. -12, total 44.5)

This is a dangerous game for Saskatchewan laying big points against an Ottawa team coming off a bye.  The RedBlacks are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Under is 4-0 in the RedBlacks last 4 games overall. The Under is 4-1 in the Roughriders last 5 home games.  We’ll take the road team and the points and the game under the total.
