Clippers Debut New 2022–23 Statement Edition Uniform

The Los Angeles Clippers have introduced new Statement Edition uniforms for 2022–23, which bring back the team’s beloved black jerseys and wordmark created by Los Angeles tattoo artist Mister Cartoon. On November 9 when they meet the Lakers on ESPN, the Clippers will debut their new Statement Edition jerseys. The 10 home wear dates, which include the majority of the Wednesday and Thursday games played at Crypto.com Arena, will have a Clippers Statement Edition court with the wordmark created by Mister Cartoon at center court.

The Los Angeles wordmark, created by Mister Cartoon, debuted on the Clippers’ 2019–20 City Edition jerseys as a black wordmark on white clothing. The color scheme was changed the following season to include a white wordmark on black jerseys. The new outfits carry on the custom of honoring the team’s naval heritage. The hues were inspired by nautical navigational lights.
