BURNLEY vs. STOKE CITY

3-Way: 1: Burnley +140; X: +233 Draw; 2: Stoke City +270 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -0.5: Burnley +137; Stoke City -139

Total +2: Over -116; Under +112

BURNLEY

The Clarets recorded their third victory in the last five matches beating Watford 1:0 at home in the previous round of the English Premier League. It was their fourth win on the home soil, along with two draws and two losses, and the Clarets are now in the seventh spot with 28 points, just two points behind Liverpool in the fourth spot.

Injuries and suspensions: Tom Heaton (shoulder), Dean Marney (cruciate ligament rupture), Jonathan Walters (knee problems)

Head-to-head: Last year Burnley won 1:0 at Turf Moor, while Stoke City secured a convincing 2:0 victory in front of the home fans

STOKE CITY

The Potters were hammered 5:1 by Tottenham on the road in the previous round, and it was their third defeat in the last five matches, fifth away from home this season. Stoke is now in the 15th spot of the table with 16 points, just three points above the relegation zone. Their defensive work is awful since the start of the season and there are no signs of improvement. With 35 goals conceded, Stoke’s defense is the worst in the Premier League.

Injuries and suspensions: Stephen Ireland (fractured leg)

Burnley vs. Stoke City – Match Prediction

The Clarets will try to keep the pace with heavyweight teams in the league, and Stoke City’s fragile defense is a great chance to score a couple of goals in front of the home fans.

MY PICK: Burnley to Win (+140)

CRYSTAL PALACE vs. WATFORD

3-Way: 1: Crystal Palace +140; X: +260 Draw; 2: Watford +254 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -0.5: Crystal Palace +131; Watford -132

Total +2.5: Over +104; Under +100

CRYSTAL PALACE

The Eagles managed to stay undefeated in the previous five games, recording one win and four draws in the process, but after the first 16 rounds, they are sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table with 11 points and a 10:27 goal difference, two points behind WBA in the safe 17th spot. In the previous round, Crystal Palace drew with Bournemouth at home, 2:2, showing some improvement in the final third, as they scored all 10 goals of the season on the home soil.

Injuries and suspensions: Connor Wickham (cruciate ligament rupture), Chung-Yong Lee (muscle)

Head-to-head: The Eagles won three out of the last five H2H matches, including the last season meeting at Selhurst Park (1:0), while two years ago Watford won on the road (2:1)

WATFORD

The Hornets recorded their second defeat in the last three matches, losing 1:0 to Burnley on the road in the previous round of the English Premier League. They are currently in the ninth spot of the table with 22 points and a 25:27 goal difference, while on the road the Hornets have recorded four wins, one draw, and three losses with a 15:11 goal difference. Against Burnley, they failed to find the net away from home for the first time this season.

Injuries and suspensions: Craig Cathcart (knee), Nathaniel Chalobah (knee), Miguel Britos (muscle)

Crystal Palace vs. Watford – Match Prediction

Both teams have serious problems at the back, so I expect to see some goals in this one, particularly after Watford failed to score in the previous round.

MY PICK: Over 2.5 Goals +104

HUDDERSFIELD vs. CHELSEA

3-Way: 1: Huddersfield +1050; X: +430 Draw; 2: Chelsea -233 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread +1.5: Huddersfield -112; Chelsea +114

Total +2.5: Over -110; Under +106

HUDDERSFIELD

The Terriers put an end to a four-game losing string with a 2:0 victory over Brighton at home in the previous round of the English Premier League. The striker Steve Mounie scored a couple of goals in the first half to secure his team’s fourth win of the season at John Smith’s Stadium, and now he’s the team’s leading scorer with four goals in 11 appearances this season. The Terriers are sitting in the 12th spot of the table with 18 points and an 11:26 goal difference, while their attack is the third most inefficient in the league.

Injuries and suspensions: Michael Hefele (Achilles tendon), Jon Gorenc-Stankovic (cruciate ligament), Philip Billing (ankle surgery)

Head-to-head: The last H2H meeting was almost ten years ago in the FA Cup round of 16 when Chelsea won at home, 3:1.

CHELSEA

The Blues was defeated 1:0 by West Ham in the previous round and it was their second loss in the last ten matches in all competitions, so three points against Huddersfield sound like an imperative. Chelsea is currently in the third spot of the table with 32 points and a 28:13 goal difference, 14 points behind the leader Manchester City. On the road, they have recorded five wins, one draw, and two losses with a 15:6 goal difference, while they are winless in the previous two clashes away from home.

Injuries and suspensions: All players are ready to go

Huddersfield vs. Chelsea – Match Prediction

Chelsea had a poor match against West Ham, so I believe they will bounce back in this one. The Terriers are a well-organized team, so it is going to be a tough job for the Blues, so I am backing the under 2.5 goals in this contest.

MY PICK: Under 2.5 Goals (+106)

NEWCASTLE vs. EVERTON

3-Way: 1: Newcastle +160; X: +242 Draw; 2: Everton +237 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread 0: Newcastle -125; Everton +134

Total +2.5: Over +120; Under -125

NEWCASTLE

The Magpies are in a terrible form since the end of October as they earned just one point in the last seven matches. They were beaten 3:2 by Leicester at home in the previous round of the English Premier League, and it was their fourth loss on the home soil this season along with three wins and one draw. The Magpies’ defensive work is awful in the last couple of weeks as they conceded 15 goals in the previous five games, while they’ve dropped to the 16th spot of the table with 15 points and a 16:25 goal difference.

Injuries and suspensions: All players are ready for the next match

Head-to-head: Everton won the last three H2H meetings without conceding a goal, while the Magpies recorded their last victory at home three seasons ago, 3:2.

EVERTON

The Toffees survived the Merseyside Derby (1:1) in the previous round, and after some good results in the last couple of weeks, they are laying at the 10th place of the table with 19 points and a 20:29 goal difference. After a pretty poor start of the season, Everton is slowly building up the form, and a solid defense could be a key factor in the following weeks.

Injuries and suspensions: Yannick Bolasie (cruciate ligament rupture), Seamus Coleman (fractured leg), Ramiro Funes Mori (knee)

Newcastle vs. Everton – Match Prediction

The Toffees’ self-confidence looks much better since Sam Allardyce took the helm, while Newcastle desperately needs a win, so this one will be interesting to watch. I think we could easily see a draw in this one.

MY PICK: Draw (+242)

SOUTHAMPTON vs. LEICESTER CITY

3-Way: 1: Southampton +122; X: +250 Draw; 2: Leicester City +288 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -0.5: Southampton +120; Leicester City -120

Total +2.5: Over +120; Under -118

SOUTHAMPTON

The Saints have won just one game in the previous five rounds of the English Premier League along with two defeats and two consecutive draws. On last weekend, they had a good game against Arsenal, earning a 1:1 draw on the home soil. After the first 16 rounds, the Saints are in the 11th spot of the table with 18 points, five points behind their next rival Leicester City.

Injuries and suspensions: Cedric (muscle, doubtful)

Head-to-head: The Saints won their last H2H duel at St. Mary’s Stadium (3:0), and it was their only victory in the previous five matches, while Leicester City recorded two wins.

LEICESTER CITY

The Foxes are undefeated for four matches in a row, while in the previous round they recorded the third consecutive victory beating Newcastle on the road, 3:2. Leicester City is currently in the eighth spot of the table with 23 points and a 23:22 goal difference, seven points behind Liverpool in the fourth spot. On the road, the Foxes have recorded two wins, four draws, and two losses with a 12:13 goal difference, while they are unbeaten in six consecutive away matches.

Injuries and suspensions: Robert Huth (malleolar)

Southampton vs. Leicester City – Match Prediction

Both teams played well in their previous games on last weekend, so I expect to see a tight match with probably less than three goals in total.

MY PICK: Under 2.5 Goals (-118)

SWANSEA CITY vs. MANCHESTER CITY

3-Way: 1: Swansea City +1400; X: +650 Draw; 2: Manchester City -357 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread +2: Swansea City -116; Manchester City +121

Total +3: Over -122; Under +125

SWANSEA CITY

The Swans earned an important 1:0 victory over WBA at home in the previous round of the Premier League after earning just one draw in the last eight matches in all competitions. Swansea City is currently in the 19th spot of the table with 12 points and a 9:18 goal difference, one point behind WBA in the 17th spot. The Swans’ attack is the most inefficient in the Premier League thus far, and they scored just two goals in the previous six games.

Injuries and suspensions: Kyle Bartley (knee)

Head-to-head: In the previous five H2H meetings the Swans managed to earn just one draw, while Manchester City won the last two games at Liberty Stadium

MANCHESTER CITY

The Citizens have beaten their city rivals in the previous round (2:1), and now they are topping the table with 11 points more than Manchester United in the second spot. Manchester City is enjoying a tremendous season so far with 15 wins and just one draw in the first 16 rounds, while their attack is way above the others with 48 goals scored thus far.

Injuries and suspensions: Benjamin Mendy (cruciate ligament surgery), John Stones (hamstring)

Swansea City vs. Manchester City – Match Prediction

The visitors are looking unstoppable at the moment, and Swansea City will need a lot of luck to avoid a heavy defeat in this one. Go with the over 3 goals.

MY PICK: Over 3 goals (-122)

LIVERPOOL vs. WEST BROMWICH ALBION

3-Way: 1: Liverpool -333; X: +630 Draw; 2: West Bromwich Albion +1600 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -2: Liverpool +116; West Bromwich Albion -116

Total +3: Over -112; Under +110

LIVERPOOL

The Reds failed to win a Merseyside Derby on last weekend playing a 1:1 stalemate with the Toffees, and it was their second draw in a row on the home soil. The winger Mohamed Salah continued with a magnificent performance this season scoring his 19th goal in 24 appearances. Liverpool is currently in the fourth spot of the table with 30 points and a 34:20 goal difference, already 16 points behind the leader Manchester City.

Injuries and suspensions: Nathaniel Clyne (back), Alberto Moreno (wound), Adam Bogdan (cruciate ligament rupture)

Head-to-head: Last season Liverpool won both matches (2:1 at home, and 1:0 on the road), while West Bromwich Albion is without a win in the last eight H2H games

WEST BROMWICH ALBION

The Baggies are in a terrible form as they are without a win in the last 15 matches in all competitions. In the previous five Premier League matches the Baggies recorded three draws and two defeats, including a narrow 1:0 defeat against Swansea City in the previous round. West Bromwich Albion is currently in the 17th spot of the table with 13 points, same as West Ham in the 18th place.

Injuries and suspensions: James Morrison (Achilles tendon), Craig Dawson (knee), Nacer Chadli (muscle)

Liverpool vs. West Bromwich Albion – Match Prediction

The Reds are huge favorites and I expect to see them hammering the visitors in front of the home fans, especially as WBA’s defense doesn’t look good this season.

MY PICK: Liverpool AH -2 (+116)

MANCHESTER UNITED vs. BOURNEMOUTH

3-Way: 1: Manchester United -303; X: +550 Draw; 2: Bournemouth +1400 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -1.5: Manchester United -111; Bournemouth +114

Total +3: Over +112; Under -118

MANCHESTER UNITED

The Red Devils lost a quite important match against Manchester City in the previous round of the Premier League, and now they are sitting at the second spot of the table with 35 points and a 36:11 goal difference, 11 points behind the Citizens at the top of the table, and five points more than Liverpool in the fourth spot. Romelu Lukaku is the team’s leading scorer with 13 goals in 24 appearances, but his mistakes led to both Manchester City’s goals last weekend.

Injuries and suspensions: Michael Carrick (calf), Paul Pogba (red card)

Head-to-head: Last year at Old Trafford Bournemouth earned a 1:1 draw, while these two teams played just four times so far, as Bournemouth recorded one win two years ago.

BOURNEMOUTH

The Cherries played a 2:2 stalemate with Crystal Palace on the road in the previous round, and it was their second draw in the row, third in the last four Premier League Matches. Bournemouth is currently in the 14th spot of the table with 16 points and a 15:19 goal difference, three points above the relegation zone. On the road, they have recorded two wins, two draws, and four losses with a 6:10 goal difference.

Injuries and suspensions: Adam Federici (meniscus), Tyrone Mings (back), Brad Smith (bruised hip)

Manchester United vs. Bournemouth – Match Prediction

The Red Devils desperately need a win to keep the pace with their city rivals, so I expect to see a convincing victory, especially the visitors are in a quite poor form recently.

MY PICK: Manchester United AH -1.5 (-111)

TOTTENHAM vs. BRIGHTON

3-Way: 1: Tottenham -303; X: +590 Draw; 2: Brighton +1400 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -1.5: Tottenham -128; Brighton +125

Total +3: Over +106; Under -110

TOTTENHAM

The Spurs put an end on a four-game string without a win, beating Stoke City on the home soil, 5:1, in the previous round of the Premier League. Harry Kane bagged a couple of goals and now he has 18 goals on his account in 20 appearances this season. Tottenham is in the sixth spot of the table after the first 16 rounds with 28 points and a 28:14 goal difference, two points behind Liverpool in the fourth spot.

Injuries and suspensions: Victor Wanyama (hyaline cartilage), Toby Alderweireld (hamstring)

Head-to-head: Their last H2H match was in 2014/2015 season in the English Carabao Cup round of 16 when the Spurs easily won, 2:0.

BRIGHTON

The Seagulls recorded their second defeat in a row in the previous round, losing to Huddersfield on the road, 2:0, and they are now without a win in the last five matches. Brighton is currently in the 13th spot of the table with 17 points and a 14:21 goal difference, four points above the danger zone. On the road, they have recorded two wins, one draw, and five defeats with a 5:9 goal difference.

Injuries and suspensions: Steve Sidwell (back)

Tottenham vs. Brighton – Match Prediction

The Spurs finally bagged some goals in the last round, and five goals against Stoke City could be a huge boost when they face Brighton this mid-week.

MY PICK: Tottenham AH -1.5 (-128)

WEST HAM vs. ARSENAL

3-Way: 1: West Ham +480; X: +340 Draw; 2: Arsenal -141 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread +1: West Ham -114; Arsenal +114

Total +3: Over +125; Under -130

WEST HAM

The Hammers upset Chelsea on last weekend, beating the defending champions 1:0 on the home soil, and it was West Ham’s first victory after two draws and four losses in the previous six Premier League matches. After the first 16 rounds, the Hammers are in the 18th spot of the table with 13 points and a 14:32 goal difference, while at home stadium they have recorded three wins, one draw, and three defeats with an 8:11 goal difference.

Injuries and suspensions: Jose Fonte (malleolar)

Head-to-head: Arsenal won both games last season and they hammered the Hammers 5:1 at London Stadium, while West Ham hasn’t won at home since November 5th, 2006.

ARSENAL

The Gunners upset their fans with a 1:1 draw at Southampton on last weekend and they are currently in the fifth spot of the table with 29 points and a 30:20 goal difference, one point behind Liverpool in the fourth spot. Arsenal was terrible on the road thus far, recording two wins, two draws, and four losses with a 9:13 goal difference.

Injuries and suspensions: Santi Cazorla (Achilles tendon)

West Ham vs. Arsenal – Match Prediction

The Hammers’ defense is the second worst in the Premier League, while the Gunners are also pretty fragile at the back, so I expect to see some goals in this one.

MY PICK: Over 3 Goals (+125)
