Epic Texas A&M Comeback Over Northern Iowa

Down by 12 with just over thirty-seconds remaining in the game, the nation saw a Texas A&M comeback that would rewrite the history books and become a stretch that this NCAA Tournament will always be remembered for.

After two overtime periods, the Aggies eventually put away Northern Iowa 92-88, advancing to face Oklahoma in next weekend’s Sweet 16 games.

Senior Danuel House started the game 0-for-9 from the field, but managed to finished 22 points and eight rebounds to lead the Aggies down the stretch.

There is no way to understate what we just witnessed on national television. The country was looking forward to nominating its newest Cinderella, a program that had fallen completely out of the national focus in January despite owning a win over North Carolina in the non-conference.

Coming into the night, UNI had won 14 of 15 games, including their stretch to win the MVC Tournament where they knocked off conference leader Wichita State in the semi-finals.
