The former LA Clippers player has signed with the Golden State Warriors

According to reports, the Golden State Warriors have signed former LA Clippers lottery selection Jerome Robinson to a one-year deal. Robinson was selected by the Clippers with the 13th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He played 75 games for the team before being traded to the Washington Wizards. Robinson has had trouble finding his feet in 113 career NBA games, scoring only 4.5 PPG on 36.3% of his field goal attempts. Robinson demonstrated impressive scoring ability in college, but he hasn’t been able to carry that success over to the NBA.

Robinson, a former star at Boston College, has not lived up to his draft position but has shown glimpses of life in the G-League. Last year, Robinson played in 22 games with the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 20.2 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 3.8 APG. He did it with a lot more efficiency than he had previously demonstrated at the NBA level, giving him a chance with Golden State. Robinson now has a chance to join Golden State’s roster after training camp.
