Goodell Wants Shorter Preseason, Pryor Signs with Jags and More

Everyone seems to be in agreement. Let’s see how long it takes them to act as Roger Goodell has publicly come out in support of a shorter NFL preseason. Teams currently play four games, with the two teams facing off in the Hall of Fame Game playing five. Is this an actual stance based on player safety or is it an opening salvo in the effort to move the regular NFL schedule to 18 games?

Pryor joins Jaguars receiver corps

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reached an agreement with free agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor to add to their depleted group of wide receivers. Pryor played in eight games last season for the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills. He caught 16 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns.

Bortles bouncing back with McVay

Blake Bortles is soaking up every bit of knowledge he can from Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay as he attempts to reinvigorate his career as a back up for the NFC Champions. Bortles was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason and signed with the Rams on a one-year, $1 million contract.
