Guard Dennis Schröder Signs with the Lakers

Guard Dennis Schröder has joined the Los Angeles Lakers, vice president of basketball operations and general manager Rob Pelinka said Monday. No financial details of the agreement were disclosed in accordance with team policy, therefore no one is aware of its value. During the 2017–18 NBA season, Schröder played in 64 games for the Celtics and Rockets, averaging 13.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 28.7 minutes per game.

Pelinka declared, “We are overjoyed to welcome Dennis Schröder back to the Lakers. Dennis and Coach Ham not only have a shared past, but they also exhibit traits of each other’s toughness and fierce competitiveness. Dennis will strengthen our guard core by adding depth and a defensive presence. He is a dependable scorer and facilitator as well. After his incredibly successful offseason with his national team, we can’t wait for Dennis to report to camp and start working again in Los Angeles.”
