Joe Burrow has returned to Cincinnati to take part in the Bengals’ voluntary offseason workouts, the report says, with the team posting on social media that he participated during the second phase of the club’s offseason schedule.
Burrow’s offseason included extensive travel and high-profile appearances. The report says he was seen in Los Angeles and attended the Met Gala for a second straight year, wearing a custom Bode suit alongside Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, and that he walked the runway at Vogue World 2024 in Paris.
Despite the visibility, the report says Burrow continued football preparation away from public events. He posted a car selfie with teammates Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Mike Gesicki after the Bengals acquired defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence II, and he has worked with longtime private quarterback coach Jordan Palmer. The report also notes Burrow spent time doing Pilates at the Alo Wellness Club in Los Angeles and is one of Alo’s biggest brand ambassadors.
Public comments from Burrow have been limited, the report says, with a recent Vanity Fair interview as the notable exception. In that conversation he praised Cincinnati’s offseason moves following a disappointing 2025 season that ended with the team missing the playoffs for a third straight year, and he signaled approval of the front office’s approach to upgrade the roster.
The report characterizes the Lawrence trade as one of the franchise’s most ambitious moves and says Burrow expressed optimism about the additions, noting the aim to strengthen the defense with players such as Dexter Lawrence II, Bryan Cook and Boye Mafe so younger teammates can develop. The report says Burrow called the moves an exciting initiative by the organization as the team resets for the coming season.
